Caring volunteers are the heart of hospice care. Our volunteers are people like you, who have been touched by the kindness of hospice and wish to give back. Our volunteers are people who simply want to give of themselves. While family and friends of a hospice care patient often comprise our volunteers, volunteers are always people who want to help others in a time of need.
Hospice volunteers share a common bond of compassion, a commitment to excellence, and a respect for the choices and comfort of patients and families struggling with end-of-life health problems. Our volunteers have been highly trained and prepared well to provide care when it is needed most. Hospice volunteers become part of a family of dedicated people fulfilling a promise to help those in need.
